When I first met with Gemma and John they had bought an ordnance survey map with them, good thing they did really else I'd have never found the little spot that they'd chosen for their wedding. A place called Cruggleton lodge that they had stumbled across, overlooking the coast, just south of Garlieston. A recce with the kids soon revealed this amazing location, and the fantastic potential for photographs.
Gemma's suggestion of bringing her white horse to the ceremony got me really excited, but unfortunately this wasn't to be. |

 Rachel had asked me to photograph the bridal preparations, down at her parents farm in Newton Stewart. I was met by her dad in his dressing gown, with a table full of bacon butties! Some shots around the house and of the old vintage car, and I was away to the church in Gatehouse of Fleet in a flash. |
