| The Dutch get silly! |
Well that's the last wedding for the year finished. Pascalle and Job (pronounced Yobe), a Dutch couple, got married on Thursday at Knockbrex the folly in Borgue, Dumfries & Galloway. They decided to get married in Scotland even though they had never been here before! They arrived a few days earlier and visited all then key places in the area, the local whiskey distillery Bladnoch and the Cocoa Bean chocolate factory.
With the ceremony over and the haunting sounds of the lone piper playing Star Wars and AC/DC, now just a distant memory, we got on with some portraits, it didn't take too long to recognise that Pascalle was a bit of a live-wire and responded better than I could have hoped when I asked her to get silly and have some fun! So we went down to the beach at Carrick and Job and Pascalle got silly! Although the Scottish weather was pretty good for a change it started cloudy but when the sun finally burst through the clouds we got some great shots. Interrupted only by the occasional beachcomber. The session ended up with the couple wandering through a field full of sheep! We all had fun and I wish them both the very best! |
