It’s not every day you go to a Druid wedding (unless of course you are a Druid or a Druid wedding crasher!). This summer I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to photograph Emily & Ewan’s Druid wedding at the spectacular Caerlaverock castle.  The ceremony itself took place within a circle of guests within the grounds of the castle, and certain rituals included hand tying and sharing around bread and mead.  It really was a fascinating experience, which also made for some great shots throughout the day.  Everyone then went onto Hetland Hall Hotel in Dumfries for the reception.

Emily and Ewan have since seen their photo’s, and sent me a lovely message to say that “They are fantastic!! Thank you for doing such a fantastic job of capturing our wedding, Giles”
