Suzi & Ed were married the week before Christmas at the impressive Drumwalt Castle which stands at one end of Mochrum Loch on the  Mochrum Estate, somewhere between Wigtown and Glenluce. It was certainly a cool day but the weather stayed dry (mostly). The ceremony took place in the chapel on the second floor, a little tricky for Ed, who had broken his ankle whilst away on his stag-do! The ceremony was an intimate affair in the small chapel with just close friends and family and then drinks were served downstairs in the dungeon!

We nipped over to Mochrum Loch for some portraits just as the sun was going down, I must tip my hat to both Suzi and Ed, who were more than happy to clamber up a rock at the edge of the Loch so we could get a dramatic portrait with the loch in the background, Ed even managed this whilst on his crutches!

By the time we got back the rest of the wedding guests had started to arrive, ready for the speeches and Ceilidh dancing into the evening. A lovely day and a lovely couple. All the best to you both.
