Kirsty & Rosanne chose a stunning spot for their wedding, the beautiful The Vu in Bathgate. The wedding and reception were held in the The Water Lily ‘island room’ which jets out on to a small loch with resident swans.
Following the ceremony, Rosanne and Kirsty came out to the jetty for some shots. As expected being February, the weather was bitterly cold, but the newlyweds didn’t even seem to notice. It was their first moment alone, so I took advantage of this to get some natural portraits.
The evening entertainment was kicked off by Rosanne’s Dad on violin playing a couple of pieces he had composed for each of the brides, and then the evening truly got going with a Ceilidh.
This was a lovely wedding, with many emotional moments and lots to photograph. Congratulations to Rosanne, Kirsty and family, and thank you for letting me capture your special day.
