Sian & Ian were married back in the Summer at the lovely little Mochrum Parish Church near Port William with a marquee reception at the family farm.

The day was filled with laughter from the minute Sian arrived at the Church, and continued throughout the ceremony. What followed was a complete surprise for the couple, a beautifully restored old tractor and trailer filled with hay bales and balloons to take the couple back to the farm. I love these unique little touches which make a wedding special, and enjoyed watching the newly weds driving off in the back of the trailer supping champagne, obviously loving every moment.

We were lucky enough to be treated to a beautiful evening sky, so Sian and Ian were happy to come out again for some sunset shots. A cow field may not be the most glamorous place to spend your big day, but it’s always worth making the most out of the amazing skies when presented with them, as they can result in some of the best shots of the day.

The day ended with a bang, with everyone up on their feet dancing from the outset. This is always a bonus from my point of view, as when everyone’s having a great time, there is so much to photograph. A very fitting way to round off such a happy day.
